Submission Guidelines

We have our preview sessions on the third Friday of the semester. We spend the day viewing the first episode of several different series, and then the club votes on which ones to continue watching for the rest of the semester. Then the schedule is made. Depending on length, we're able to watch around 8 - 12 different series

• It has to be DVD. We don't have a VHS player anymore. Fansubs are also allowed for titles that are not commercially available in the US. No bootlegs, period
• It has to be animated and of Japanese Origin. Live action film is only allowed on "free-for-all nights"(the first two meeting of the semester. The films also have to be of Japanese Origin).
• Typically, we only show series that can be completed in a single semester by watching two episodes per week. That's a maximum of about 26 episodes. We do occasionally make exceptions if there is enough interest in a series
• We also usually don't preview anything that has already been shown in the club prior to 2008. You can view the archive of what we've shown here
• Because of the large number of club members, we insist that people who wish to bring a series to preview, limit it to two per person. This is so we can make is fair to everyone else who brings in a series to preview
• No Hentai. Sorry:(
• Any title that is a movie or less than four episodes will be shown on our "free-for-all nights".
