Q: What is Anime?
A: Simply put, Anime is Japanese Animation. This includes everything from
television series to theatrical movies. Due to the popularity of animation
in Japan, there is a wide variety of Anime in all types of genres that comes
out every season.
Q: What is the Palomar College Anime Club?
A: Founded in 2000 by Brian Gordon, the Anime club is a non-profit Palomar
College ASG club which holds weekly Anime screenings during the Spring and
Fall semesters. The club currently meets on Friday at the San Marcos campus
in room P-20, from 2:00pm to 10:00pm. Membership is open to all current
Palomar College students.
Q: How do I get to the club?

Q: Is there a limit on
what the club can or cannot watch?
A: Yes. We don't allow any adult titles (Hentai). Also, anything that would
receive a 17+ rating will only be shown during the last half of club
(6pm-10pm).

A: The advisor is
Mr. Bill Jahnel.
Q: Who are the current club officials?
A: The current President is Derek Hoeft and Vice President is Elisa Elaine
Luevanos.
Q: Do you show subbed or dubbed Anime?
A: We only show subtitled Anime.
Q: How does the club decide what to watch?
A: During the first meeting of each semester we preview the first episode
from several titles that club members bring in. The club votes on what
titles they want to continue watching and a schedule is made for the rest of
the semester.
Q: Can I bring my own Anime to club for others to watch?
A: Sure! We welcome any contributions from club members. If you want the
club to preview your title, bring it during the first meeting of the

A: The list of Anime we have shown is
here. Currently this only goes back to
2005. We are currently in the process of updating it.
